ELECTRIC POWER

Entergy Corporation supplies Warren’s electrical needs, one of the nation’s largest publicly owned utility companies. The company employs local professional engineers who are available at no cost to business and industry to assist in the planning and application of electric power at the lowest cost to their customers.

Entergy Arkansas has approval from the state Public Service Commission to work with industrial clients on structuring power rates by offering special contract rates. Entergy can also offer demand rate discounts to industrial clients meeting certain usage requirements.

NATURAL GAS

Natural gas service to Warren and the surrounding area is provided and distributed by Center Point Energy-Arkla. Center Point is an investor-owned public utility. One 4-inch line, with a pressure of 450 to 720 psi, linked to a Fuel Transportation Corporation pipeline in nearby Wilmar, Arkansas.

WATER

Warren Municipal Water & Sewer Service supplies Warren’s water. Our water source is 3 wells. Our water storage capacity is 1,000,000 gallons per day. The pumping capacity is 3,200,000 gallons per day. Peak consumption is 1,500,000 gallons per day and surplus capacity is 1,700,000 gallons per day. The Warren Water and Sewer System is approved by the State Health Department.

WASTEWATER & SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL

Warren Municipal Water and Sewer Service also operates and maintains the collection lines and wastewater treatment plant in Warren. The wastewater treatment capacity is 1,440,000 gallons per day, peak sewer treatment is 750,000 gallons per day and surplus capacity is 690,000 gallons per day.
